The Internet is one of the growing parts of communication and connectivity services in Uganda. In fact, Uganda is counted as one of the most avid users in the world as over 18.149 million Internet users are present here (est.2018).
There are over 36,332 Fixed broadband subscribers in Uganda and many large firms and organizations have the connection. The wireless broadband subscribers are over 2.5 million as per the 2015 estimation. The average internet speed of Uganda is 2515.97 kbps.
Today, the internet is used in colleges, universities, offices, industries, and many other places. As Uganda is still a developing country, the services are mainly accessible in the urban and commercial areas. The signal towers are being set up in many places and the face of the internet is going to change soon.
