Day 1
Arrival in Arusha
Tanzania welcomes you to a classic safari holiday with us. Upon arrival at the Kilimanjaro International Airport, we will transfer to the stylish Gran Melia Arusha Hotel. The place is an oasis set amid 18-acre of coffee and tea lands.
Enjoy spectacular views of Mount Meru and Arusha from your private balcony while staying at this modern hotel inspired by the Tanzanian tribal designs. Relax with all the premium, air-conditioner-equipped facilities at your disposal, including king-size or two single beds, 65-in flatscreen TV, mini bar, free Wi-Fi, and more. Day 2
Lake Manyara National Park
Wake up to the wonderful views of Mount Meru and spend your morning at leisure. Enjoy a delicious breakfast. Get ready for an exciting adventure of a safari tour with a briefing to start your journey. In the after, proceed from Arusha on a fabulous road trip passing through spectacular landscapes of the Maasai Steppe. You will be amazed at the pretty African villages that dot the route among plenty of maize, coffee, and banana plantations. The journey continues northwest through the scenic escarpment to reach Lake Manyara Kilimanjaro Lodge. Set on the edge of the majestic Rift Valley, Lake Manyara Kilimanjaro Lodge welcomes you to a stunning setting of lush green gardens and the sounds of chirping birds. This is an ideal base to explore Lake Manyara National Park on the tour. Enjoy an overnight stay at the lodge as you absorb the beauty of Lake Manyara over the distant landscape.
Day 3
Serengeti National Park
After a sumptuous breakfast, head on to a game drive at Lake Manyara National Park. Encounter numerous elephants, baboons, impala, giraffe, buffalo, zebras, and more. After a whole lot of safari adventure, return to your lodge for a delicious lunch. The safari journey then continues northwest driving past beatific hilly countryside and highlands filled with wheat and coffee plantations. Reach the famous Ngorongoro Conservation Area as you enter the gate of the Serengeti National Park. Your safari starts right here where you head on a wonderful game viewing experience after completing formalities en route to your lodge. Encounter huge herds of wildebeest and the African Big Five and be amazed at the famous site known for the annual Great Migration of wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles. Arrive at the Ole Serai Luxury Camp in Serengeti, check-in and enjoy the ambience of a camp amid nature’s legacies. Relax and spend an overnight stay on a full board basis in luxurious style.
Day 4
Serengeti National Park
Enjoy a delicious breakfast and enjoy a game drive expedition in the morning and afternoon. Our professional guide makes sure you experience a wonderful game viewing experience at one of the most famous parks in Africa. Serengeti which means ‘endless plains’, leaves you spellbound as you encounter wildlife among the vastness of the southern grass plains. Get to witness lions, leopards, rhinos, zebras, buffalos, and more during the game drive. Around midday after a tasty lunch, head out once again to another game drive to witness the Big Five and experience your ‘wow’ safari moment. Return to the Ole Serai Luxury Camp in Serengeti for an overnight stay on a full-board basis.
Hot Air Balloon Safari (Optional)
Interested in a hot air balloon safari? Wake up before sunrise and transfer to the balloon staging site. The balloon safari in Serengeti is a truly worthwhile experience. Embark on a wonderful balloon ride after a briefing session by the pilot as the crew gets the safari ride ready and inflates the envelope. The 50-minute fun ride will leave you awestruck at the amazing panoramic views of the Serengeti National Park. The fun continues to a wonderful customary bush breakfast rendezvous, a tradition followed for centuries. Celebrate with your fellow travellers and transfer to the lodge to continue your journey on the tour. The driver-guide will meet you midway and ensure that your journey with us continues onwards to another adventure.
Day 5
Ngorongoro Crater
Enjoy a wonderful breakfast meal and depart for a game drive across the Serengeti plains. Continue to encounter majestic wildlife wandering the grasslands as you stop en route for a picnic lunch and visit the Maasai village. Go on to reach the five star colonial Ngorongoro Oldeani Mountain Lodge. Enjoy accommodation on a full board basis with majestic 360-degree views of Lake Eyasi and Lake Manyara, along with infinity pool access. Dwell amid nature in comfort and elegance with the best of 5* amenities such as bathtub, inside/outside shower, mini bar, fireplace, air conditioning, safe, tea/coffee percolator, private deck terrace, and more. Day 6
Ngorongoro Crater
After a tasty breakfast, proceed to reach the world's largest caldera, Ngorongoro Crater. Relish a picnic lunch with views of the famous World Heritage Site that leaves you awestruck. As the morning mist settles and descends the 2000 feet crater, you find yourself amid swamps, forests, open grasslands, and beautiful springs. The crater floor is a mesmerizing sight as you relax amid the dunes and absorb a truly unique safari moment. Return to the mountain lodge in the late afternoon and spend a restful night. Overnight stay at the Ngorongoro Oldeani Mountain Lodge on a full board basis.
Day 7
Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, depart from Ngorongoro Crater and head southeast to go past Lake Manyara and Mto wa Mbu village. The Karatu district plains filled with coffee plantations and wheat plains make for a scenic drive. The journey continues down the escarpment passing through the highlands to turn south on the main Arusha-Dodoma road. Reach the gates of the famous Tarangire National Park and enjoy game viewing en route before reaching the stylish tents of Ole Serai Luxury Camp Kuro. The luxury lodge is right in the heart of the park with fascinating tents and extensive verandahs. The park is a paradise for a large concentration of elephants, over 400 bird species, leopards, and more with the beautiful Tarangire River meandering the park. Enjoy a relaxing overnight stay at the lodge surrounded by baobab trees in spacious rooms with well-appointed facilities. Stay overnight at the Ole Serai Luxury Camp Kuro on a full board basis.
Day 8
Departure
After breakfast, prepare to depart on a road trip that passes through the sights of maize, coffee, and banana plantations once again. Take in memories of the Maasai Steppe that you would cherish forever. Upon arrival at Arusha, have a tasty lunch and transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your onward flight (booked by the agent). The earliest departure from Kilimanjaro International Airport is after 1600 hours. The iconic safari adventure with us will truly be a wonderful lifetime experience.
