Itinerary

Day 1

Arrival - Nairobi

Upon arrival in Nairobi, clients will be met and transferred to The Sarova Stanley Hotel. Afternoon at leisure.
Overnight at The Sarova Stanley Hotel in a deluxe room on a bed and breakfast basis. (Check-in time is 1400hrs approx. and will be adhered to. Clients arriving in the middle of the night must book a pre-night as they will not be permitted to wait in the hotel lobby check-in at 1400hrs.)

Day 2

Nairobi - Shaba Game Reserve

Heading north after an early breakfast, you pass near Thika and continue north through some breathtaking scenery dotted with rushing mountain streams and fields of tea and coffee. After Nanyuki town, continue north, eventually reaching a dusty outpost known as Isiolo, the last major stop on the journey into the remote northern frontier district. From here it's a fairly short hop to Shaba, arrival at the lodge in time for lunch, and then depart for an afternoon game drive arriving back at the lodge as the sunsets.

Day 3

Shaba Game Reserve

Early morning game drive followed by breakfast. Then for the remainder of the morning, one is able to relax by the pool or terrace, overlooking the river. After lunch, there will be another game drive returning to the lodge as the sunsets.

Day 4

Shaba Game Reserve – Lake Nakuru

Leaving Shaba behind, travel south through Isiolo, crossing the northernmost foothills of Mount Kenya, until you get to the town of Nanyuki. Head north-west towards Nyahururu, before turning in a southerly direction to your next destination, the spectacular Lake Nakuru. Once in the park, view game en route to the lodge. Following lunch and a siesta, there is an afternoon game drive returning to the lodge as the sun sets. The national park, known for its birdlife, offers a possibility to view flamingoes. It is also home to Black and White rhinos as well as the endangered Rothschild Giraffe.

Day 5

Lake Nakuru - Masai Mara Game Reserve

Following an early morning breakfast leave the flamingo-fringed Lake Nakuru behind and head for Njoro town, where you begin your ascent up over the top of the Mau Escarpment; then, heading due south, travel towards Narok, the gateway to the Maasai Mara and district headquarters of this part of Maasailand. Travel across the "breadbasket" of Kenya, covered with acres of wheat and barley, before you reach the Mara in time for lunch. Following lunch and a siesta, there is an afternoon game drive returning to the camp as the sun sets.

Day 6

Masai Mara Game Reserve

Early morning and afternoon game drives. (It is possible to pre-book an optional early morning Balloon Safari at a supplement charges)

Day 7

Masai Mara Game Reserve - Nairobi

Following breakfast depart the Masai Mara and head across acres of rolling wheat and barley farms to Narok, the district headquarters of this part of Maasailand. From here cross the vast plains on the floor of the Rift Valley, whilst keeping an eye out for herds of giraffe and gazelle, before heading up the rift escarpment on a road built by Italian prisoners during World War II. Arrive into Kenya’s bustling capital around mid day. Once in the city, clients will dropped off in the city centre or at the airport for ongoing travel arrangements.

Terms & Conditions

  • The rate is not valid for New Year, special events, peak season, and blackout dates.
  • PCR Test with Negative Result valid within the last 72 hours before departure is mandatory.
  • COVID restrictions & PCR guidelines might change anytime without any notice.
  • Rates for Single/Triple/Quad occupancy will vary at the time of booking.
  • Rates & room availability is subject to change at the time of confirmation.
  • Bookings will be confirmed only upon receipt of payment as per the booking terms.
  • The standard check-in time at the hotel is 1400/1500 hours while the check-out time is 1100/1200 hours. Early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability.
  • The above rate is based per person on a double sharing basis.
  • Seasonal surcharges and blackout dates may apply depending on the date of travel.
  • Passengers are solely responsible for meeting the passport and visa conditions of the country of travel.
  • Passport must be valid for at least six months from the date of departure.
  • The passengers must ensure on their own that they have a valid passport for the necessary period as per the traveling destination immigration rules. The passengers should also arrange for visas before traveling with this holiday package.

COVID-19 Safety Guidelines

  • PCR Test within the last 72 hours before departure is required. Upon arrival, a PCR test at the border is required.
  • Ensure that the Negative PCR test for COVID-19 health document is in English.
  • Maintain at least three feet distance from the next traveller.
  • Wash your hands frequently for about 20 seconds. We recommend frequent washing every 30 minutes.
  • Most airlines prefer web check-in for your safety.
  • Always wear a mask and carry sanitisers, gloves, and soap gel for frequent hand washing.
  • Avoid crowding, especially in the aircraft.
  • Follow all health advisory and travel guidelines of the country of travel.
  • Be sure to have taken all vaccinations that are essential to protect your immune system.
  • Always cough into your elbow and wear a mask.
  • Arrive early at the airport to follow security protocol.
  • Carry travel insurance for your emergency needs.
  • Immediately report any symptoms of fever, cough, and breathlessness (if you have any) to the nearest medical authority.
