Day 1
Dublin, Ireland
Day one of the tour begins with your arrival at the Dublin International Airport (DUB) in Ireland. Post that you will be transferred to check-in at The Dylan Hotel. Post-check-in you will meet an archaeology expert and take a tour of the National Museum Of Ireland. In the evening join the group and gather for a welcome dinner at the hotel’s all-day dining restaurant.
Day 2
Kilkenny
Day two will see the group checking out from the Dylan Hotel in Dublin. After which the tour will head out to explore the Sweny’s pharmacy that is featured in the novel Ulysses and you can also see the Book of Kells at the Trinity College. Before checking in you will get to explore Kilkenny Castle. On arrival in Kilkenny, you will be checked into the Pembroke Hotel Kilkenny. Followed by lunch and the rest of the evening at your own leisure.
Day 3
Kilkenny
On day three your day will begin with a hearty and lavish Irish breakfast at the Pembroke Hotel Kilkenny. Post that head out for a tour of Kilkenny on your own and sip a pint of Smithwicks which is a very unique experience, as the ale is one of the most consumed beers in Ireland. After that, make a climb to the St. Canice’s Cathedral and witness a truly holy and tranquil experience.
Day 4
Cashel/Blarney
On day four of the tour of Ireland, the group will check out from the hotel in Kilkenny and leave for Killarney. On the way to Killarney, you will have the opportunity to climb the ramparts of Rock of Cashel and kiss the famous Blarney Stone at the Blarney Castle. It is said that whoever kisses the stone gets the power of fluency and persuasiveness. After this, the group will check in to the Killarney Park Hotel and then meet up for lunch. In the evening the group will have the chance to meet an Irish medievalist and listen to his efforts of preserving the holy wells of Ireland. The dinner will be at the Killarney Park hotel followed by a stayover.
Day 5
Dingle Peninsula/Killarney
On day five of the tour post breakfast, the group will have the chance to rediscover the ancient historical sites at the Dingle Peninsula. After which the group will move to the Killarney National Park to witness the unique landscape that the region has to offer. Post this, the group meets back at the hotel for lunch with the rest of the afternoon, evening and night at your own leisure.
Day 6
Cliffs Of Moher/The Burren National Park
On day six the tour will check out from the hotel in Killarney and head for Gragan East. On the way to Gragan, the group will have the chance to walk around the cliffs of Moher. Post that the group will move to the Burren National Park and learn about the conservation efforts that led the park and cliffs of Moher to win a legacy award. The group will then meet for dinner at the Gregan’s Castle Hotel, where the group will have checked in before lunch.
Day 7
County Mayo
Day seven will see the group moving out of the Gregan’s Castle Hotel and heading to County Mayo. En route, the group will have the honour of meeting chocolatiers at the Hazel Mountain Chocolate Factory before visiting the mighty and majestic Ashford Castle. The Ashford Castle would also be the location where the group will be checking on arrival.
Day 8
Connemara
On day eight the group will have the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to experience the traditional farm life. The experience will unfold at the Dan O’Hara Homestead, where you will also experience a live demonstration of sheepherding.
Day 9
County Mayo/Dublin
Day nine will commence with the group heading out of County Mayo and back to Dublin. On arriving in Dublin you will have the opportunity to be a part of a private whiskey tasting tour by an expert whiskey connoisseur. During the night the group will gather for the farewell dinner.
Day 10
Cusco
After a scrumptious breakfast, you will be transferred to the Dublin International Airport. From here you will board your flight back home.
