Day 1
Arrival in Cape Town
Cape Town errific city and the capital of Western Cape Province. Upon arrival at the Cape Town International Airport, our representative meets you and assists you. Transfer to your pre-booked hotel for a night's stay in one of the most popular long-haul destinations in the world.
Cape Town will entice you, often called the 'Mother City'. From practically any standpoint you can witness a mountain or sea most times due to its unique topography. The great Table Mountain, glittering seas of the west coast of Africa, and the bustling energy are delightful to experience. Remember that with Table Mountain behind you and Robben Island before you; you are facing north, looking across Table Bay and up the west coast of Africa. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 2
Cape Town - City Tour
Relish a tasty breakfast and proceed on the exciting half-day tour of Cape Town or Mother City. The tour first takes you on a coastal scenic drive through Clifton and Sea Point. This is one of the most beautiful drives to orient yourself to the mountains and the spectacular coastline. The tour further passes other top attractions such as the Houses of Parliament, the Castle, the South African Museum and historical sights. Part of the tour also includes District Six, Bo-Kaap, Slave Lodge and ends at the bustling Greenmarket Square. There is a fun-filled cable car ride that takes you to the top of Table Mountain (weather permitting and entrance ticket included), if not then to Signal Hill.
Return to your hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 3
Cape Town - Peninsula Tour
This morning enjoy a hearty breakfast and depart on a full-day Peninsula tour. The comprehensive tour shows you how spectacular the Cape Peninsula is, otherwise known as the Fairest Cape. The tour proceeds past Sea Point and Camps Bay, one of South Africa's breathtaking suburbs offering glittering ocean views. You go past the golden beaches of Clifton and Llandudno towards Hout Bay, a harbour town with a laid-back vibe.
The tour then takes you on a drive along the Atlantic Seaboard, a narrow band of suburbs sandwiched between the Table Mountain range and the Atlantic Ocean. Pass through Noordhoek and Scarborough, fabulous seaside towns. Later, the popular Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve is part of the itinerary. This is a World Heritage site and a protected Nature Reserve. Get aboard the Flying Dutchman, a funicular ride that is exceptional for its unforgettable views. It is a funicular railway located at Cape Point, near the Cape of Good Hope.
Later you have a photo stop at the second southernmost tip of the African continent. The tour visits the beautiful Boulders Beach, where you have the chance to sit among the famous colony of Jackass Penguins. Enjoy your time on the sandy cove with a resident penguin colony.
The tour enjoys a short stop at the naval port of Simon's Town. Learn about the legendary “Able Seaman Just Nuisance, the Great Dane dog that was inducted into the Royal Navy. He had befriended the sailors around the port of Simon's Town, South Africa, during the Second World War.
Return to the cosy hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 4
Cape Town – Robben Island
Relish breakfast at the hotel and proceed to a half-day trip to Robben Island. This island is where Nelson Mandela, the South African political leader, was imprisoned for 18 out of his 27 years of jail.
Return in the afternoon to the hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure.
