In the evening you will head out for a short tour of the city of Yerevan. The tour will allow you to visit some major tourist attractions in Yerevan and let you get closer to Armenian history and culture. Some of these major locations include places like Yerevan Republic Square, Opera Square, Abovyan street with the “Armenian Belle Epoque” buildings, the Northern Avenue and many more. We will then head to Victory Park from where the lights lit city of Yerevan will be visible. We will also visit the musical fountains where the water dances in rhythm with the music being played, which ranges from classical, pop, rock and contemporary jazz. Post this you will return to the hotel followed by an overnight stay.

Day 2

Lake Sevan “The Pearl of Armenia” + Dilijan National Park

Day two will begin with a nice hearty Armenian breakfast at the hotel in Yerevan. From there the group will depart for Lake Sevan which is often referred to as “The Pearl Of Armenia”. The lake is one of the largest high-altitude lakes in the world. A visit to the lake's peninsula will uncover the panoramic views that the lake has to offer. Post this the group will move on to Dilijan, which is often referred to as the “Switzerland” of Armenia and a town of the famous Armenian artisans. We will also tour the outskirts of Dilijan National Park which lies on the edge of the town.
Before we return to Yerevan the group will make one final stop at the Tsaghkadzor Ski Resort, where the group will gather at the summit of Mount Teghenis for a panoramic view of the beautiful town of Tsaghkadzor, often known as the “valley of flowers”. Post this we will return to Yerevan for an overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 3

Valley “Symphony of Stones”

Day three will begin with a hearty Armenian breakfast in Yerevan. Post that the group will depart for the Kotayk region where we will visit the pagan temple of Garni, an ionic temple built in the Hellenistic period (77 AD) on a triangular promontory surrounded by deep gorges. The Azat Canyon is a place particularly known for its formations of basalt columns called the "Symphony of the stones". In the village of Garni, we will witness the ceremony of traditional lavash, Armenian bread baking by the women of the village (UNESCO Heritage from 2014). We will visit Geghard (UNESCO), a 13th-century rock-carved monastery, which once housed the spear that was used to pierce the side of Jesus Christ.
Post this the group will visit the “Ararat” Brandy Factory and Museum, where we will discover a wonderful world where history intertwines with modernity and tradition, with the generosity of the land and with the creative passion of masters. The history of the oldest brand of Armenian brandy Ararat began more than 130 years ago, in 1887, when the first brandy production in Armenia was founded. The evening in Yerevan will be dedicated to the tasting of Arabic traditional typical cuisine in the heart of Yerevan, in a typical Arabic restaurant. Followed by an overnight stay at the hotel in Yerevan.

Day 4

In the Shadow of Mt. Ararat, the Noah’s Ark Mount

On day four after breakfast, we will depart for the Ararat region to visit the monastery of Khor Virap, a place particularly dear to Armenians. This place is an important destination because from the top of its walls you can enjoy one of the most beautiful views of Ararat, the mountain where according to biblical belief lies Noah's Ark after the Great Floods subsided. After Khor Virap we will return to Yerevan and visit the Megeryan Carpet Factory to experience the art of handmade rug weaving. The tradition and integrity of this Armenian fine craft of handmade rug making and restoration of rugs and tapestries are world-renowned.
