Day 2

Baku City Tour

After a delicious breakfast, we proceed onwards to the Baku city tour. Start your journey at Highland Park from where you get panoramic views of the city. Also, witness the Alley of Martyrs which is a cemetery and memorial dedicated to those killed by the Soviet army. We see The National Assembly which is also transliterated as Milli Majlis and the famous Flame Towers, the tallest skyscraper in Baku.
Proceed onwards to Baku Boulevard for an enchanting experience on a promenade along a south-facing bay on the Caspian Sea. It traditionally starts at Freedom Square continuing west to the Old City and beyond. Since 2012, the Yeni Bulvar (New Boulevard) has virtually doubled the length to 3.75 km.
*Our tour proceeds to Old City (Icherisheher) which is the historical core of Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan. The Old City is the most ancient part of Baku, which is surrounded by walls that were well protected. In 2007, the Old City had a population of about 3000 people. There are several historic monuments located in the territory of Old Town (UNESCO World Heritage sites). In December 2000, the Old City of Baku, including the Palace of the Shirvanshahs and Maiden Tower, became the first location in Azerbaijan to be classified as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.

The tour proceeds to visit The Heydar Aliyev Center noted for its distinctive architecture and free-flowing style. This is a 57,500 square meter building complex in Baku, Azerbaijan designed by Iraqi-British architect Zaha Hadid and noted for its distinctive architecture and flowing, curved style that eschews sharp angles. The centre is named after Heydar Aliyev, the first secretary of Soviet Azerbaijan from 1969 to 1982, and president of the Azerbaijan Republic from October 1993 to October 2003. * Back to the hotel or drop off at any point in the city centre.

Enjoy a delicious breakfast and proceed with our professional Arabic-speaking guide to Tufandaq. This gorgeous Winter-Summer Tourism Complex offers cable car rides at any time of the year, skiing on the ski tracks of different difficulty levels, ski training and ski school, catering service (cafe and restaurants), entertainment centres for kids, hotel accommodations and more. You can enjoy the fresh air along with the dazzling views of the mountains. The natural scenery and incomparable beauty will set your soul-stirring. The Tufandag Mountain Resort is just like a jewel in the crown of the mountainscape that surrounds it. It is a must-see for nature lovers and sports enthusiasts alike. Whether for skiing or just for memorable summer views of the Alpine scenery, this attraction is welcoming.

The tour then takes you to Gabaland. It is located in one of the most picturesque regions of Azerbaijan. This centre attracts summer tourists from Russia, Iran and Turkey. Gabala Amusement Park is the largest open-air theme park in Azerbaijan. Gabaland Park is a nice place for kids to have a great time. Amazing games for all ages and nice restaurants spread around the park will make you cherish unforgettable moments. The park is surrounded by beautiful mountains and nature. It is a favourite among locals and travellers with kids where entertainment and leisure are plenty. The main attractions are Drop tower, Twister, Swinger, Mini Coaster, Techno Pop, Butterfly, Bumper Cars, Crazy Clown, pedal boats, Italian kiddie rides, mini-jet, Battery Moto, Playground, Trampoline, Lasermaxx, XD theatre, ice ring dome, horse & pony riding, race mania, nautic jet, climbing wall, bungee trampoline, Skydiver and more.

We then see the beauty of Nohur Lake in Qabala, another region of Azerbaijan that one passes when travelling to Sheki. The Nohur Lake is a popular recreation spot surrounded by mountains and thickets of reeds. Enjoy a sense of tranquillity in these incredible scenes of the lake with magnificent views of the Caucasus Mountains. As you proceed deeper the lake gets deeper and opens up to a picturesque backdrop of mountains with a spectacular view that opens up in front of you.

Overnight stay in Gabala.

Day 5

Transfer to Baku City again

After an enjoyable breakfast, check out from the hotel in Gabala and transfer back to Baku. Check-in and enjoy your day on your own.

Day 6

Absheron Tour

Relish a breakfast meal and proceed on the Absheron Tour. We start with Ateshgah also called the ‘Fire Temple of Baku’ (Fire Worshippers Temple), a famous attraction. The temple is used as a Hindu and Zoroastrian place of worship in the pentagonal complex. The Persian and Indian inscriptions are mesmerizing. “Atash” is the Persian word for fire where the flames are worshipped. The temple has a courtyard surrounded by cells for monks and a tetra pillar-altar in the middle. It was built in the 17th and 18th centuries and was abandoned in the late 19th century as the Indian population diminished. The natural "eternal flame" went out in 1969, after nearly a century.

We then proceed to the Fire Mountain called ‘Yanar Dag’. This is located on a hillside on the Absheron Peninsula, on the Caspian Sea some 25 km from the north of Baku. Yanar Dag means ‘Blazing Mountains’. This is a natural gas fire that continuously burns, a highlight attraction of the tour.

Back to the hotel or drop off at any point in the city center. Overnight stay in your pre-booked hotel.
