Day 1
Welcome To Tashkent!
Day one of the tour will commence with your arrival at the Tashkent International Airport. On arrival, you will meet our representative and your Arabic-speaking guide and chauffeur. Post this you will check in to your hotel in Tashkent, with the rest of the evening at your own leisure.
Day 2
City Tour Of Tashkent
Day two will begin with a nice hearty Uzbech breakfast at the hotel in Tashkent. Post that you will head out for a tour of the city of Tashkent and visit the Khazrati Imam Complex which houses the 15th-century Kafal Shashi Mausoleum, the Barak-Khan Madrasah and the Muyi-Mubarak Mosque which is the resting place of the well known Koran Of Khalif Osman. You will also visit the Djuma Mosque which is home to golden hair that according to popular belief belongs to the great Prophet Muhammad.
After lunch, we will proceed for shopping at the Chorsu and Alay Oriental bazaars, where you will have the chance to shop for souvenirs and local spices. After that, we will proceed to the new side of Tashkent city where you will get to experience the popular tourist attractions like Independence Square, Amir Temur Statue, Uzbech’s own “Broadway” and the new Minor Mosque. There will also be a metro ride across the city.
Day 3
Tashkent - Samarkand
Day three of the tour will start with your transfer to the nearest train station to board a train that will take you from Taskent to Samarkand. The transfer to the station will be at 0700 hours. The journey aboard the first-class coach across Uzbekistan is an exciting experience and the journey will last for 2 hours from 0800 hours to 1010 hours.
On arrival in Samarkand, you will meet up with your Arabic-speaking guide/chauffeur who will take you on a tour of Samarkand. Some of these locations include places like the Guri Emir Mausoleum which is the resting site of Amir Temur and his extended family. Post that you will be taken to explore the popular Registan Square which houses the Ulugbek Madrasah, Sherdor Madarasah and the Tillya-Kori Madarasah. After the tour, you are free to have your lunch, post which you will be transferred to the hotel in Samarkand for your check-in which would happen around 1400 hours. The rest of the day is free for you to explore the local bazaars and shop for local fresh produce, souvenirs, dry fruits, sweets and several varieties of freshly baked bread.
Day 4
Samarkand - Bukhara
Day four will commence with your chauffeur transferring you to the nearest station by 0900 hours, for you to board your fast-speed train to Bukhara. The travel from Samarkand will commence at 0950 hours and will end at 1119 hours which is roughly a one-and-a-half-hour journey.
On arrival in Bukhara, you will meet up with your chauffeur at the train station and be transferred to the city centre to commence the tour of Bukhara. Some of the locations that would be explored during the tour include locations like Samanids Mausoleum, Bolo-Khauz Mosque and the Ark Citadel, which is a city within a city. After this, you will be free to have your lunch at the outlet of your choosing at your convenience.
Post lunch the tour of the city will begin and you will continue your sightseeing of the popular tourist attractions in Bukhara. Some of these include places like Poyi Kalon, Kalon Minaret, Kalon Mosque, Miri Arab Madrasah and the beautiful Lyabi Khauz Complex, which is said to be the centre of the old city. Next, you will have the chance to take a stroll across the three domes which form the heart of the Coumpol Bazaar, which have stayed exactly the same way as they were from the time the Silk route passed through the city. Post your shopping spree at the local bazaar you will head on to check in at the hotel in Bukhara, with the rest of the day free at your leisure and an overnight stay at the same hotel.
Day 5
Bukhara - Tashkent
After the morning breakfast, the rest of the morning is at your own leisure. In the afternoon you will be transferred to the nearest train station for your transfer to Tashkent. The check-out will happen at 1200 hours from the hotel in Bukhara and the transfer to the station will have to finish by 1430 hours. The train will depart from Bukhara for Tashkent at 1550 hours and reach Tashkent by 1944 hours. On arrival, your chauffeur will facilitate your transfer to the hotel in Tashkent with the rest of the day at your leisure.
Day 6
Departure
The final day of the tour will end with a hearty Uzbech breakfast at the hotel in Tashkent. After that, you will check out and head to the Tashkent Internation Airport for your flight back to your home country, with memories of a wonderful vacation in Uzbekistan that would last a lifetime.
