Day 1
Welcome To Almaty!
Day one of the tour will commence with your arrival at the Almaty International Airport. On arrival, you will meet our representative and your Arabic-speaking guide and chauffeur. Post this you will check in to your hotel in Almaty, with the rest of the evening at your own leisure.
Day 2
Panoramic Tour Of Almaty
After a hearty and lavish Kazakh breakfast at the hotel in Almaty, you will move out for a tour of the city of Almaty. Your Arabic-speaking guide will take you around the popular locations in Almaty. Some of these exciting locations include places like Panfilov Park, Zenkov Cathedral, the Memorial of Glory and the Eternal Flame. Post this you will transfer to the Square of the Republic and Monument Of Independence, where you will feel the energy of the Apple City and witness its rich history.
Day 3
Excursion to Medeo & Shymbulak
Day three will begin with a nice Kazakh breakfast. Then the group will be led by your Arabic-speaking chauffeur to the Medeo ice rink which is located at an altitude of 1,691.2 meters above sea level. The rink was built around 1972 and is known the world over. The surface of the ice rink covers an area of roughly 10,500 square meters, which makes conducting events of ice skating, ice hockey and figure skating an experience like no other.
Close to the ice rink is the Shymbulak Ski Resort lies in the picturesque ravine of Zailiysky Alatau Mountain. Which lies at an altitude of 2,260 meters above sea level and at a distance of 25 kilometres from the centre of the city of Almaty. The most remarkable feature is the cable car that goes up to the height of 3,163 metres above sea level that connects both the locations with the heart of the city of Almaty.
Day 4
Show Of Hunting Birds
Visit the nursery of rare and endangered species of birds "Sunkar" which is unique by its species composition and equipment after breakfast. It is the only nursery in the whole territory of Kazakhstan, and during its operation, it has raised 1060 birds and released 260 falcons Balobans into the wild. In a falcon nursery, you can see the most beautiful birds, learn about their biological characteristics, and more than that, see a falcon show (from May to October). The birds participate in the show and demonstrate different things, such as hunting with a bird and getting food out of the water. A spectacular performance featuring free-flying birds of prey will tell the history of falconry and its traditions.
Day 5
Excursion to the Canyon
Near the Chinese border, the canyon is located on the spurs of Tian Shan. In the valley of the Charyn river lies the Charyn Canyon, a natural monument built from sedimentary rocks with an age of about 12 million years. This interesting and frequently visited tourist destination is often known as the "Valley of Castles''. During the glaciation era, a grove of relict species of ash survived in the bosom of the canyon, and another groove of ash is found only in North America. Several flora and fauna species exist in Charyn Canyon due to its diversity of terrain. While Charyn Canyon is smaller than the Colorado Grand Canyon in North America, it is far more beautiful than it is in terms of size.
Day 6
Excursion to Ethno-Village Huns
You will experience the full flavour of nomadic life on the sixth day as you plunge into the traditional environment of the Kazakh people. Kazakh people take pride in and honour their ancestral customs and traditions. Hospitality greatly affects the national character of every Kazakh, which the locals display by inviting you to their homes. You will learn about the magnificent lifestyle, customs, and culture of the Kazakhs in the ethno-village.
Day 7
Departure
On the final day of the tour, the group will have their Kazakh breakfast at the Novotel hotel. Post this you will be transferred back to the Almaty International Airport in Kazakhstan for your flight back to your home country, with memories of a wonderful tour that would last for a long time.
