Day 1
Arrive in Jerusalem
Arrival at Tel Aviv Airport. Welcome to Israel! Proceed for border checks and procedures and transfer to your booked hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight stay in Jerusalem.
Day 2
Jerusalem
After a tasty breakfast, there is a pick-up arranged from the hotel between 7.45 am to 8.00 am. The tour proceeds on an excursion to the New City of Jerusalem and a visit to the Israel Museum. Here the Shrine of the Book is displayed and the Dead Sea Scrolls among other exhibits of world-renowned archeological and artistic significance. There is a model that represents the city of Jerusalem at the time of Jesus that is also on display to see. The tour proceeds through the Hebrew University of Jerusalem then goes toward Ein Karen, a picturesque neighbourhood on the outskirts of the city to visit the Shrine of Saint John the Baptist.
We then take you to see the Yad Vashem, the Holocaust Museum and the Memorial. In the afternoon, the tour proceeds to Bethlehem. It is located behind the wall built in recent years to separate the two communities. We will take a Palestinian guide to visit the Church of the Nativity, the Grotto of the Manger and the Shepherds’ Field. Transfer to Jerusalem for a comfortable overnight stay in the booked hotel.
Day 3
Jerusalem
After a hearty breakfast, the tour proceeds to visit the Old City of Jerusalem. The highlights include a visit to Mount Scopus towards the Mount of Olives. You get to see a spectacular view of the walled Holy City from the top. The tour then continues to Gethsemane, the Basilica of the Agony. We transfer to the Old City and visit the Western Wall (Wailing Wall). It is an ancient limestone wall known in Islam as the Buraq Wall. There is a section of the wall that the Jews use to pray. The tour continues along the Via Dolorosa to arrive at Calvary. This is the place where Christ was crucified. Go on to see the Church of the Holy Sepulcher. Proceed onwards to Mount Zion and visit the Tomb of King David, the Cenacle (Hall of the Last Supper) and the Abbey of the Dormition.

Day 4
Jerusalem - Puente Sheikh Hussein - Jerash - Amman
After a delicious breakfast, the tour departs early to the border of Israel and Jordan. Upon arrival at the Sheik Hussein Bridge border and visa, procedures are completed. Welcome to Jordan! Explore the Fortress of Ajlun, an imposing castle dating back to the 12th century. In this area, Muslims and Orthodox Christians have always lived together.
The tour proceeds to visit the historic Church of Saint Sergius and Bacchus which holds a special place among the Coptic churches. Relish lunch and continue on the tour to Jerash to visit its impressive Roman archeological site. We then travel to Amman. Spend an overnight stay at the booked hotel in Amman.
Note: The Sheik Hussein border must be crossed on a special bus for this purpose. This costs around $3 per person, which must be paid directly by the passengers themselves. Fees: Each country requires an entry/exit fee that passengers must pay directly at their destination. For guidance purposes, these are the fees/visa fees that may apply (prices subject to change without notice): Israel: $32 (Departure Fee to Jordan); Jordan: 40 dinars/$60 (Sheik Hussein Border visa).
Day 5
Amman - Madaba - Amman
Enjoy breakfast and depart on the exciting tour to the Castles of the Desert. This attraction was built between the 7th and 8th centuries. Proceed to visit Qasr Kharana with its imposing structure of thick walls and the Qusayr Amra, which is a World Heritage Site. The attraction is famous for its fabulous frescoes. We travel onwards to Madaba where delicious lunch is included. The tour takes you to sightsee the Madaba Archeological Park, which we cross via an ancient Roman road. See the Church of St. George, with its fantastic 6th Century mosaic representing the oldest known map of the Holy Land. The tour continues to Mount Nebo where Moses stopped to look over the Promised Land.
Transfer to Amman. Upon arrival, spend the rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay in Amman.
Day 6
Amman - Bethany - Dead Sea
After a tasty breakfast, the tour leaves for Bethany, the holy land on the banks of the River Jordan and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This is where John the Baptist baptized Jesus. The tour proceeds to the Dead Sea Museum which has an impressive Panorama Complex. The tour includes lunch and a transfer to the hotel. At the Dead Sea, do not forget to take a dip in the saltiest sea and lowest altitude on earth. Dinner and a comfortable overnight stay are included.
Day 7
Dead Sea - Shoubak- Petra
This morning after breakfast the tour explores an exciting section of Jordan. Following the Dead Sea visit, we proceed to the Lot's Cave. This was discovered in 1991 with its old Byzantine church from the 6th century. Then we ascend into the mountains to Dana, a small picturesque town of stone houses on a huge cliff. Lunch is included in the tour. We proceed along the King's Route to Shobak, where we can take photographs ( of the outside only) of the great Crusader Castle.
The tour continues to Wadi Musa (the site around Petra). Explore the Moses Spring where Moses is said to have tapped the rock with his rod and the water gushed out. Visit the Petra Museum, an ancient museum with exhibitions and galleries that let you indulge in the history of Nabateans and the magnificent exhibits of the area. Time for delicious dinner and overnight stay. You can also go to the old Turkish bath or see the sound and light show in Petra if you desire.

Day 8
Petra - Wadi Rum
After breakfast, we head out on another exciting day of historical discovery. First, we visit the gorgeous archeological site of Petra which can be reached through a narrow canyon. Discover the temples and tombs excavated on the cliffs in this city that was founded 300 years before Christ. After lunch (included) the tour leaves for the impressive desert of Wadi Rum. Board a 4x4 vehicle at the Visitors Centre and go on a discovery of some of the most impressive landscapes.
We stop in the town of Rum to visit the ruins of the Nabatean Temple. Enjoy a 45-minute camel ride through the desert. We then proceed to visit the spectacular Khazali Canyon. See the engravings that reveal the origins of the Arabic language. Delicious dinner and accommodation included in a desert camp. Overnight stay in Wadi Rum.
Day 9
Wadi Rum - Aqaba
After breakfast, we take you to Aqaba on the tour, Jordan`s port city. It is a modern and commercial hub where you can enjoy the afternoon at leisure in the hotel resort booked for your stay. Take a dip in the warm waters of the Red Sea and enjoy your time in Jordan, a coastal city on the Gulf of Aqaba.

Day 10
Aqaba - Amman
After breakfast, we will depart via “the desert road” to Amman.
Note: Depending on the number of travellers, the trip from Aqaba to Amman may be made by a regular VIP coach. Upon arrival check the time of your flight in case you need an additional night. A departure transfer is included for the airport to catch your flight back home.
