Itinerary

Day 1

Welcome to Riga

  • Welcome to Riga, the capital of Latvia.
  • Meet and greet our Travelwings representative at the airport pickup point.
  • The rest of the day is free at leisure.
  • Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 2

Riga Sightseeing and Jurmala Tour

  • After breakfast, Spend the day exploring Riga. Begin with the central boulevards, admiring the City Canal, Gardens, Bastion Hill, Latvian National Theatre, Fine Arts Museum, and Art Nouveau buildings. Visit the medieval Hanseatic town, Riga Castle, St. Peter’s Church, Dome Cathedral, Old Guild Houses, Latvian National Opera, and the Powder Tower.
  • Later proceed for Jurmala trip , Latvia’s largest seaside resort, just 20 km from the city center. Stroll along the famous Jomas pedestrian street or relax on the sandy beach, sheltered by dunes and pine forests. In the evening a trip back to Riga.
  • Overnight stay at the hotel in Riga.

Day 3

Free day at leisure or an optional tour for an extra cost

Tour: Sigulda Tour - Duration: 09:00-14:00
Price: AED 1200 per person (minimum of 02 pax)

  • After a hearty Latvian breakfast at the hotel, you will have the Sigulda sightseeing tour.
  • Sigulda is often called the "Latvian Switzerland" because of the beauty of its landscape.
  • Visit the 13th century Turaida castle and the mysterious Gutmana Cave linked to a romantic medieval love legend.
  • Return to Riga ,enjoy a leisurely afternoon and overnight stay at hotel.

Day 4

Hill of Crosses – Kaunas

  • Breakfast at the hotel
  • Transfer Riga - Kaunas with the sightseeing tour included:
  • The Hill of Crosses in North Lithuania Hill of Crosses - a small hill covered with thousands of crosses has become a symbol of Lithuanian nationhood and deep religious faith. Since mid 19th century it has been the place of expressing gratitude to God for divine favors.
  • Evening arrival in Kaunas, hotel check in.

Day 5

Kauna-Vilnius

  • Breakfast at the hotel
  • Start your exploration in the old town. Tour starts with the excursion of the old town including the remains of the 13th century Castle, Town hall and continues across the Town hall square towards Vytautas church built by Grand Duke Vytautas as one of the first brick castles in the 14th century. The tour takes you further to stop at Kaunas Cathedral Basilica, famous for baroque interior, then continues to pedestrian street - Freedom Avenue.
  • Later Proceed your trip to Vilnius.
  • Overnight in Vilnius

Day 6

Vilnius - Trakai

  • Breakfast at the hotel.
  • Vilnius Old Town guided walking tour.
  • You will see Vilnius Cathedral and its square, the University campus, Pilies street with the 16 – 18th century historical and architectural monuments, Gothic corner of Vilnius with St. Anne’s and Bernardine churches, the former Town Hall square, the Dawn Gate with a miraculous icon of Virgin Mary, the 17th century Baroque church of St. Peter and Paul.
  • Later proceed to Trakai for a Trakai sightseeing tour. Trakai is the ancient capital of Lithuania is now famous for its 15th century insular castle housing an exhibition on prehistoric findings and 17 – 18th century applied art, the way of life of the Lithuanian Grand Dukes, and Karaites, brought to Lithuania from the Crimea.
  • In the evening a trip back to Vilnius.
  • Overnight in Vilnius

Day 7

Day at Leisure

  • Post a hearty breakfast, spend the day at leisure or choose the optional tour.
  • Overnight at the hotel in Vilnius.

Day 8

Departure from Vilnius

  • Standard hotel Check out is 13:00 and keep the luggage in the hotel lobby
  • Here, you'll have the opportunity to explore traditional Lithuanian rural buildings, the old ones dating from the 17th century.
  • Enjoy a leisurely afternoon in Vilnius. In the evening, there will be a transfer to the airport for your departure.
