Day 1
###Welcome To Slovakia
Day one of your tour will commence with your arrival at the Bratislava MR Štefánik Airport in Slovakia.
Post that, meet up with our Travelwings representative at the airport, for your transfer to the designated hotel.
After checking in the rest of the day is at your leisure.
Day 2
Bratislava City Walk
Day two of the tour will start with a hearty Slovakian breakfast at the hotel in Bratislava.
Post breakfast head on out to explore Bratislava by foot on a fascinating 2-hour tour led by an entertaining local guide.
Witness the marvel and find out more about the only preserved gate of the city’s old fortification system.
Explore the other neo-renaissance style Old Opera House, St. Martin’s Cathedral (Gothic cathedral from the 15th century and former coronation place), Classicist Primate’s Palace, Main Square, the Old Town Hall and the most photographed statue of Čumil in the city.
Day 3
Bratislava Castle Tour
Day three will begin with a delicious breakfast at the hotel in Bratislava.
After that, you will board a coach with comfortable seats and an open transparent roof, post which we will take you through the old ruins of Bratislava situated outside the former medieval city and up to Bratislava Castle.
On reaching Bratislava Castle, find the imprints of Celtic, Roman and Slavonic history.
The very ambience and vast expanse of the castle are guaranteed to leave you in awe of the famous tourist attractions.
There are several other attractions like the upside-down pyramid, a place which is said to be the landing spot of a UFO in Bratislava, the right name of the Presidential Palace and several other interesting things.
The medieval castle Courtyard offers a magnificent view of the city and its surroundings, including a nice baroque garden and a park.
On the way to the castle, you will see the Philharmonic Slovak National Theatre Opera and several magnificent churches, the upside-down Pyramid at Radio & the Grasalkovich Presidential palace.
You will also get to witness the old archbishop's summer palace which now serves as the domicile for Government offices, Parliament and St. Martin Coronation Cathedral.
On your way back to the Old Town, we recommend you continue with a second Old Town Tour or a guided walk.
Day 4
Little Carpathian Wine Tour
Day four begins with a delectable breakfast at the hotel in Bratislava.
Post that, you will be taken through the colourful villages and small towns of St. Jur, Pezinok, and Modra, which lie at the foothills of the Carpathian Mountains.
It was at the small Carpathian Mountains where the most famous producers of a top Slovak winery have served wine to locals and kings for centuries.
In the afternoon you will start in front of your hotel in Bratislava. After which, you will visit the Little Carpathian region where you will explore the magic of Red Stone Castle with white peacocks in its park.
The last stop will be a wine-tasting session in a 500-year-old cellar. Where the wine house specialist will provide you with an in-depth dive into the world of Slovak wines.
Day 5
Bratislava – Prague by Train (04 hours Journey)
Day five will commence with breakfast at the hotel in Bratislava, post which you will head to the nearest train station.
Where you will board a train to Prague and commence a scenic train journey across Slovakia.
On arrival at Prague station transfer to the hotel for your check-in. The evening is at your leisure to relax or explore the city.
Day 6
Discover Karlovy Vary
Day six of the tour will a lavish breakfast at the hotel in Prague.
Post that, discover the hidden charms of Karlovy Vary and find out for yourself why this historical city wins over people!
Enjoy the chance to try out the healing properties of the springs that have attracted visitors since the 1700s.
Situated in western Bohemia, Karlovy Vary has a history dating back to the Middle Ages.
With a long-established reputation as a spa town, it boasts 12 main springs, 300 smaller ones and the warm-water Tepla River. Legend talks about the healing qualities of the springs were first acclaimed by the city’s founder, King Charles IV, in 1370.
Another celebrated aspect of the city is its long heritage of glass and crystal making, with the Moser Factory leading the way (admission included).
Reflect on the beauty and see first-hand the shining examples of many historical and prizewinning glass and crystal creations, as well as learn of the distinctive qualities of different crystals and the history of the Moser Company.
Day 7
Day at leisure
Day seven will commence with a hearty breakfast at the hotel in Prague.
The rest of the day is at your leisure to spend doing what you love.
Day 8
Departure
The final day of the tour will start with breakfast at the hotel in Prague.
Post that, you will be transferred over to Václav Havel Airport Prague for your flight back home with astonishing memories of your incredible journey.
