Itinerary

Day 1

Welcome to Helsinki

  • Arrive in Helsinki.
  • Private transfer to the hotel (Non-Guided).
  • Overnight stay in Helsinki.

Day 2

Helsinki Panorama Sightseeing Tour

  • Post breakfast, self-transfer to Esplanade Park for the Helsinki Panorama Sightseeing Tour.
  • Helsinki Panorama Sightseeing is the popular winter season bus tour showing you the most important sights and giving you an excellent view of Helsinki's past and present with one interesting stop.
    Tour Duration: 1 hour 45 minutes
    Departure Point: Esplanade Park
    Ending Point: Market Square
  • Return to the hotel and prepare for an overnight train journey.
  • Overnight train from Helsinki to Rovaniemi: Departure at 23:13, Arrival at 11:03.

Day 3

Arrive in Rovaniemi

  • Private transfer to the hotel (Non-Guided). Check-in post 3 PM (luggage storage available).
  • Afternoon: Safari by Snowmobile (Group Tour -1 snowmobile for 2 persons)
  • Experience the magic of an Arctic night by driving through a snow-covered forest and on a frozen river. With a little luck, you’ll travel under a bright sky, lit by the moon and the stars. Perhaps the Aurora Borealis – the Northern Lights – will appear to show you the way. Sip warm beverages savour a snack by a campfire and learn more about the Northern Lights and the beauty of Lapland.
  • Overnight stay in Rovaniemi.

Day 4

Santa Claus Village and Santa Park

  • After breakfast, visit Santa Claus Village.
  • Activities: Post letters, buy souvenirs, reindeer/husky sleigh rides, sledge downhill, and taste hot glöggi in the Ice Bar.
  • Continue to Santa Park for themed amusement and cultural experiences.
  • Enjoy performances, games, exhibitions, and shops. Optionally visit the Ice Bar.
  • Evening: Northern Lights Photography Tour
  • Focus on the Rovaniemi area, travelling by minivan.
  • Overnight stay in Rovaniemi.

Day 5

Reindeer Sleigh Safari

  • Post breakfast, experience a Reindeer Safari. (December to March)
  • Meet reindeer herders and learn about their lifestyle.
  • Enjoy a 45-minute reindeer sleigh ride, followed by warm drinks, buns, and biscuits.
  • Overnight stay in Rovaniemi.

Day 6

Departure

  • After breakfast, check out from your hotel and transfer to Rovaniemi Airport for your departure, marking the end of your unforgettable journey through Finland.

Terms & Conditions

  • The package is subject to availability at the time of booking
  • The displayed rates do not apply during special events/holidays, Christmas, New Year, peak season, and blackout dates. Additional surcharges may apply
  • There are a few non-operational dates for SIC tours.
  • SIC airport transfers are available only to selected 4-star and 5-star hotels only. Pick ups/Drop offs may not be available to/from the Hotels
  • As tours are on an SIC basis, pick-up points are from designated allocated hotels booked for the duration of your stay.
  • Drop-offs will only be at a common point, generally in or around train stations.
  • All rooms & offers are subject to availability at the time of confirmation
  • Rates for single/triple/quad occupancy will vary and can be provided upon request
  • However, the rates and options for increasing the pax are subject to availability
  • Bookings will only be confirmed upon the receipt of the complete payment as per the booking terms
  • Rates mentioned are per person on a double-sharing basis
  • The standard check-in time at the hotel is 1400/1500 hours while the check-out time is 1100/1200 hours.
  • Early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability and will incur extra costs
  • Upon check-in, the hotel may ask for a security deposit (this amount may vary based on the hotel policy). The funds will be refunded at the time of check-out less any mini-bar items and other charges (Like early check-in or late check-out or any costs related to damages to the room)
  • Passengers are solely responsible for meeting the health, passport and visa requirements of the country they are planning to travel to
  • The passport must be valid for at least six months from the date of departure
  • Due to the several circumstances that remain out of our control and jurisdiction like adverse currency fluctuations, fuel surcharges, taxes, etc. The displayed price tag is subject to change without any prior notice
  • Per the immigration rules of the destination, passengers are responsible for ensuring that they possess a valid passport both before and during the travel period.
  • The same applies to any visa requirements that the traveler must obtain before travelling to the country for which the package is being booked
  • Travelwings does not take any responsibility if the passenger is unable to travel due to issues related to their passport or visa
  • The cancellation policy will be applicable as per the booking terms and conditions
  • The passport must be valid for at least 6 months from the return date of departure.

  • Customers are responsible for carrying proper travel documentation (make sure that all travel documents are valid and complete and check the entry requirements for your upcoming trip before you travel).
  • No refund can be given for air tickets and partially used services.
  • We do not accept any responsibility if the passenger cannot travel because of any passport or visa issue.
