Cathay Pacific allows you to travel with 7kg hand luggage that should be small enough to fit in the overhead compartment of your airplane. For the check-in luggage, Cathay Pacific offers a luggage allowance of 23 Kg for local and international travel in economy class.
The domestic flight check-in counter closes 60 minutes before departure, while an international flight check-in counter closes an hour before departure. In order to avoid last-minute delays, passengers are encouraged to check in 90 minutes prior to departure. Check-in requires photo identification for each passenger and certified birth certificates of an infant or child must be certified. Passports are also required for international flights.
